This home had a tiny front and backyard, but with some reconfiguration of the pavers, painting the white wall, and the adding of planting spaces, they are cozy, not tiny.

WHAT A DIFFERENCE PAINT MAKES

Not only can paint transform the interior of a home, it works wonders outside as well. This small backyard had glaring white walls. Toned down with a soft shade of green, even the plants look lusher.

TINY YARD TRANSFORMATION

 

My clients knew the tiny backyard needed help, but worried about the lovely tree that was their pride and joy. To give the tree roots more room, the existing patio was removed and reconfigured. New plantings will provide seasonal color and interest, and a seatwall offers casual sitting when they entertain.

ENGLISH GARDEN DESERT STYLE

 

The homeowner requested low water use desert-adapted plants, and a place for a "English Garden" desert style. They've been quite happy with the results.
